There's really not much to say in this blog post because it is somewhat obvious: if you want pretty pictures of your bed and breakfast, the best time is spring.Flowers are blooming, the trees are green with leaves again, and lawn are recovering from their winter browns. In addition, spring skies are more attractive. Summer heat is filled with humidity. Humidity is haziness and photographs don't look as good.
But there's additional benefits to spring photography. A comprehensive photo package of your bed and breakfast should not only consist of the obvious shots: interior rooms and exterior views. A good set of pictures should also include insets and other shots. A good example can be seen below. Imagine how dull and unattractive this shot would be had it been taken in winter with leaves possibly winter brown and no flowers to beautify the image.

Another example of spring's benefits can be seen with interior shots. Again, look at the shot below and imagine how much less attractive the room would look if the outside exterior suffered from winter blahs. The greenery makes it more attractive and more inviting.

It's spring and it's time for pictures. Take advantage of our Bed and Breakfast Spring Photography Special and get an entire bed and breakfast photography package with a full array of pictures for your website, brochure, print ads, and rack cards for $995.

(I took the above pictures for magazine articles, and the articles were published in Our State Magazine. I wish to acknowledge the two beautiful bed and breakfasts located in North Carolina pictured here: The Sobotta Inn in Mt. Airy, North Carolina and The Albemarle Inn located in Asheville, North Carolina)
